Former unified bantamweight world titleholder Ryan Burnett faces the Philippines' Jelbirt Gomera in the main event of a Top Rank on ESPN+ card at Ulster Hall in Burnett's hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Friday at 3 p.m. ET.

Burnett (19-1, 9 KOs) lost his WBA bantamweight belt against Nonito Donaire in the World Boxing Super Series quarterfinals in November after suffering a back injury in Round 4. Before that, Burnett was on a 19-fight winning streak, including an impressive unanimous-decision victory over Zhanat Zhakiyanov in 2017 to unify the WBA and IBF bantamweight world titles.

Gomera (14-5, 7 KOs), set to fight in Europe for the first time, defeated Lloyd Jardeliza by unanimous decision in his most recent bout, in November.
