Brown leads the way in receiving

Ole Miss sophomore A.J. Brown is atop the nation through two weeks with 389 receiving yards, just 23 yards short of his entire 2016 total. Hawai'i's John Ursua and Marshall's Tyre Brady made the top five mostly on the strength of one outing, as Ursua put up 272 yards on Aug. 26, and Brady tallied 248 on Saturday.

Breneman headlines Mackey watch list

Massachusetts senior TE Adam Breneman was named to the Mackey Award watch list on Tuesday. The award goes to the nation's top tight end. Last season, Breneman caught 70 passes for 808 yards and eight touchdowns.
