2016 Schedule
9-4, 2nd in MAC - West

I'm told that Toledo running back Kareem Hunt has a private workout with the Bucs tomorrow. Runs with good pad level, low center of gravity and is patient. He averaged 123.6 yards per game over the last three seasons and produced 113 explosive plays (runs of 12 yards or more) in four seasons were second-most in college football. He's a great value pick in this draft for a team that wants to address other needs earlier on.

I'm told that Toledo tight end Michael Roberts has a private workout scheduled with the Bucs. He's 6-foot-4, 261 pounds and had 16 touchdown catches in 2016, more than any other tight end in college football. Still waiting on his official 40 time from his pro day today, but hearing he was able to shave some time off of the 4.86 from Indy.

A peculiar decision by Toledo coach Jason Candle to take a delay-of-game penalty rather than use a timeout led to a missed field-goal attempt. Because of the miss, Appalachian State hung on to win, 31-28, and the Mountaineers are Camellia Bowl champs for the second straight year.

Deja vu? Appalachian State just kicked a field goal to take a 31-28 lead over Toledo with 5:14 left. The Mountaineers won last year's Raycom Media Camellia Bowl, 31-29, thanks to a game-winning field goal as time expired.
