Sun Belt conference to split into 2 divisions

The new format for the 2018 season was announced Tuesday at the Sun Belt's annual spring meeting and will break up the 10 teams into East and West Divisions.

The Patriots made their second trade of the night, moving up in the third round to the Detroit Lions' pick at No. 85 (third round) to select Troy left tackle Antonio Garcia. The Patriots trade a third-round pick (96) and fourth-rounder (124) in that deal. Garcia is 6-foot-6 1/4 and 302 pounds, and played left tackle at Troy. Starting left tackle Nate Solder enters the final year of his contract.

Brandon Silvers throws a dart to Emanuel Thompson, who pulls it down for an 11-yard touchdown. Troy leads Ohio 21-10 late in the first half.


Justin Lucas grabs 2nd interception

The onrushing linebacker makes the pick in the face of Ohio QB Greg Windham and gives Troy possession at the Bobcats' 18-yard line. The Trojans turned that into a TD and a 21-10 lead in the second quarter of the Dollar General Bowl.


Troy defense gains takeaway

Antione Barker forces Ohio QB Greg Windham to fumble, recovered by the Trojans' Seth Calloway at the Bobcats' 47-yard line. Troy's subsequent 20-yard field-goal attempt went wide, leaving the Trojans leading 14-10 in the second quarter.
