Usually the 40-yard dash grabs plenty of the attention at the NFL scouting combine, but Missouri wide receiver Emanuel Hall may have made some history Saturday. His standing broad jump was 11-feet, 9-inches. My personal charts go back to the '87 combine -- the first one in Indianapolis -- and I believe Hall's effort is the best-ever by a wide receiver and second-best overall behind Byron Jones' 12-3 in 2015. I have former Connecticut safety Obi Melifonwu at 11-8 in 2017 as the former No. 2.
