Diego Costa and N'Golo Kante will miss Chelsea's Premier League game against Bournemouth on Dec. 26 after picking up their fifth bookings of the season in the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Costa, 28, picked up four bookings in his first six games of the season but avoided a caution in the subsequent 10 fixtures, all of which were won by Chelsea.
The Spain international is the Premier League's top goal scorer and found the back of the net for the 13th time this season to give Chelsea a first-half lead.
Kante, meanwhile, has accumulated four bookings in his last six appearances after not being cautioned between Aug. 15 and Nov. 20.
Chelsea host Bournemouth and Stoke City over the festive period before travelling to Tottenham Hotspur on Jan. 4.
Belgium international Michy Batshuayi is likely to deputise for Costa.
