Real Sociedad star Carlos Vela has said he is not focusing on the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League but stressed the club would "fight to the end."
Sociedad have not played in the competition since the 2012-13 season but are currently fifth in La Liga and in contention for a qualification spot.
But Mexico international forward Vela told AS it would be "very difficult" to book a return to the competition.
"I don't think about playing in the Champions League again, but if you win the games you have more chance," he added.
"It is very difficult because there are other teams that have these targets too.
"We dream of many things, but we do not treat them like targets because this changes a lot."
He said he felt the club deserved to play in Europe after their performances so far and added: "If we maintain our form, we can fight for Europe to the end."
