Zion Cousins converted a 3-point play to pull Howard within four points early in the second half, but the Bison went scoreless for more than six minutes and Wood's 3-pointer capped a 16-0 run to make it 57-37. Cousins made a layup to trim Howard's deficit to nine points with 3:28 remaining but the Bison would get no closer.
