Marques Townes scored 22 points and Clayton Custer added four 3-pointers and 17 points as Loyola-Chicago claimed at least a share of its first Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championship Sunday with a 76-66 victory over Evansville.

Scott lifts Indiana St over Loyola Chicago 61-57

Brenton Scott scored 16 points, including the last two baskets of the game, and Indiana State finished on a 7-0 run to defeat Loyola Chicago 61-57 on Wednesday night after losing a 16-point lead.


Johnson, Scurry guide Missouri St past Loyola-Chicago 64-59

Alize Johnson hit five 3-pointers and scored 24 with 11 rebounds, Reggie Scurry came off the bench to score 18 with seven boards and Missouri State slipped past Loyola-Chicago 64-59 in a Missouri Valley Conference opener for both teams on Friday.
