Playoff rotation the goal as Bauer's return set

Cleveland Indians right-hander Trevor Bauer will start against the Boston Red Sox on Friday when he comes off the disabled list, manager Terry Francona said Wednesday. Francona hopes Bauer will be able to join the team's playoff rotation.

Unchallenged for months, the Cleveland Indians clinched their third straight AL Central title with a 15-0 blowout on Saturday of the Detroit Tigers, who made four errors and managed only two hits.

The Indians, however, are three games under .500 outside the AL Central. The Rays have been an amazing story in the second half. They're just in the wrong division.
