The path to progress for the Miami Marlins starts on the mound. The Marlins believe their reboot will gain momentum in Season 2 under CEO Derek Jeter, and any improvement likely will be most apparent in the rotation.

Caleb Smith now has 13 K's in nine innings of two spring starts. Don't forget: He had a 3.51 ERA and 29.9 K% in his first 11 starts last year. Smith cost $1 in LABR (March 3) and $6 in Tout Wars (March 17), but now belongs in the "dart throw" tier for ESPN standard leagues.
