Rookie Pannone wins 3rd straight start, Jays beat Rays 5-2

Pham's RBI triple gives Rays the lead (0:25)
Snell trades baseball for chicken fingers (0:16)

Yeah, yeah, yeah -- pitcher wins don't matter. Still, 20 wins is awesome and Blake Snell got there with five scoreless, one-hit innings for the Rays (and tying David Price for the franchise record). He's 20-5 with a 1.97 ERA and if Chris Sale doesn't qualify for the ERA title (he's at 150 innings with a 1.92 ERA), Snell could become the first AL starter with a sub-2.00 ERA since Pedro Martinez in 2000.

Cards' Wong irked Rays didn't call up brother

Cardinals infielder Kolten Wong is disappointed that his younger brother, Kean, didn't get called up by the Rays this season, calling Tampa Bay a "bad organization which doesn't give chances to guys who deserve chances."

David Schoenfield ESPN Senior Writer

The Rays beat the Indians on Ji-Man Choi's dramatic two-out walk-off home run (which included one of the best home run trots of the season). The Indians are 81-63. The Rays are 79-64. The Indians, however, are three games under .500 outside the AL Central. The Rays have been an amazing story in the second half. They're just in the wrong division.
