Golden Guardians, a League of Legends team owned by the Golden State Warriors, has hired Danan Flander and Nick "Inero" Smith as general manager and head coach, respectively, the franchise announced Wednesday. Prior to this, Flander served as Cloud9's general manager, overseeing multiple games since early 2014. He left that org in August. Inero parted ways with Echo Fox in July, after coaching the team from 2017 to 2018. The 2019 season free agency period begins on November 19.
