The Utah Jazz went 16-of-19 on shots in the restricted area during the first half of Thursday's preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, putting them on pace for 32 such field goals. According to Second Spectrum tracking, just two teams made at least 30 shots in the restricted area during a 2017-18 game: the L.A. Lakers on December 31 (32) and the Denver Nuggets on February 25 (30), both against the Houston Rockets.

Sources: The NBA will expand its international reach next year to include preseason games in Japan (two cities) and a Dubai/India trip in addition to the China trip. Vivek Ranadive's Kings will likely be one of the teams that go to Dubai and India.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson put on a show during the last game at Seattle's KeyArena before the arena is rebuilt. Durant, who played his rookie season for the Seattle SuperSonics at the Key, scored 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting and Klay Thompson scored 30 and made six 3-pointers as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings 122-94 in Friday's preseason game. The game was the first NBA action in Seattle since the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City in 2008.
