Carmelo Anthony says he wasn't expecting the pregame montage. He was waiting for his name to be called, and then looked up and saw the video. Was touched by it as this final game of what he called an "emotional road trip" began.

Coley Harvey ESPN Staff Writer

Asked Knicks guard Courtney Lee, one of Carmelo's former teammates when he was in New York, about the crowd's positive reaction to Melo during intros. "Everyone in NYC has love for Melo." But why did Lee think Melo was booed so loudly during the game? "He had on a Thunder jersey," Lee said, smiling. "Nothing personal."

ESPN Stats and Information

Carmelo Anthony went scoreless at Madison Square Garden in the 2nd half tonight. As a member of the Knicks, he had a total of 4 scoreless halves at MSG in games in which he played, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.

Was standing next to the Thunder bench when Carmelo Anthony came out the game in the closing seconds. Who was there applauding him, letting him know he was missed in New York? Yankees great Willie Randolph.

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

It started out like he surely imagined, with Carmelo Anthony drilling a 3 on the Thunder's opening possession, but after scoring 12 points in the first half, he went scoreless in the second, last night's triple-overtime win in Philly likely playing a part in that. The Thunder head back to OKC a game under .500, going 2-1 on their homecoming road trip.
