Here's Danny Green on the difficulty of playing Game 3 after the death of Gregg Popovich's wife: "It wasn't easy. Everybody can kind of empathize and imagine losing somebody so close to you for that amount of time. The very few times I got a chance to encounter her, it was amazing. She had a presence. You guys are intimidated by Pop and probably scared of him, but her presence is probably the total opposite of that; just a joy to be around, lightened the room up and made you smile, and made everybody feel comfortable. Pop probably makes you guys a little uncomfortable. It's tough. It just puts things into perspective of how it was a basketball game. We were obviously competing and fighting, but it's a basketball game. There's bigger things going on in life. We had a tough year. Joffrey [Lauvergne] just had a family member pass. Kyle [Anderson] had a family member pass. Rasual Butler earlier this year -- a lot of guys knew him well -- and now Pop. It just puts things into perspective. As much as we want to win, there are other things in life, bigger things that are more important."

Spurs assistant coach Ettore Messina filled in for head coach Gregg Popovich and was asked whether the circumstances surrounded Game 3 might have negatively affected the team's focus: "No, I don't think so. I think they are great pros and great people. As a team, this is my answer. Individually, I guess any different individual is going through his own personal things, and it's impossible for me to evaluate that. I think everybody did a fantastic job as players, as people working in the organization, the staff, of really trying to support each other and face this moment like it should be faced; to support a friend."

Durant, Warriors take 3-0 lead against the Spurs (1:42)

Kevin Durant tells ESPN "I'm good. It's nothing" when asked about his ankle sprain. He said "it was a quick roll. It didn't completely turn. I'm fine." He's a go for Sunday.

Durant leads Warriors to 3-0 lead over mourning Spurs

Kevin Durant had 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and the Golden State Warriors beat San Antonio 110-97 on Thursday night for a 3-0 series lead over the Spurs, who were still reeling from the death of Gregg Popovich's wife, Erin.

Kevin Durant walking to the locker room without a noticeable limp, which is positive considering it appeared he tweaked that left ankle pretty good.

Kevin Durant and Shaun Livingston leave the game late with ankle tweaks. Doesn't appear to be serious, but Warriors being cautious and taking them out and into the locker room.

The fans are already headed for the exits with 6:41 left t play and the Spurs trailing by 17. Teams that fall behind 3-0 in a best-of-7 series are 0-127 in the playoffs. And that 0-127 is series record, per @ESPNStatsInfo. So while I know the diehards hope for the best with these San Antonio Spurs, it's time to face the reality soon coming your way. The undermanned Spurs fought valiantly against a superior team in the face of difficult circumstances. But this one game, this series, wasn't meant to be.

Golden State up 94-77 midway in the fourth and Spurs' fans are headed for the exits. The Warriors are on the verge of taking a commanding 3-0 series lead.
