Woj: Bulls matching Kings' LaVine offer sheet a 'no brainer' (1:04)

Bobby Marks ESPN

Here are the projected cap implications on a Zach LaVine offer sheet: Sacramento will likely need to waive Nigel Hayes to fit in the LaVine first year number. Cap space for Sacramento this year would be extinguished if the Bulls do not match and the Kings will have 15 guaranteed contracts. Sacramento in 2019-20 would still project to have $32M in room, including the Willie Cauley-Stein $14M free agent hold. Chicago would see their room this season shrink to $13M and in 2019-20 reduced to $45M if they elect to match. The room increases to $63M if the Bulls do not bring back LaVine.
