The best cheesy Valentines from around the NFL

Nothing says "I love you" like an exquisite pun from your significant other's favorite NFL team. Here are some of the best from around the league, including from the league's leading Casanova, the Atlanta Falcons.

Kareem Hunt's contract with the Browns breaks down this way, according to my colleague Field Yates: A base salary of $645,000, a $25,000 bonus for each game that he's active, and a $55,000 workout bonus. The maximum would be $1.1 million, though given Hunt will be suspended part of the year he will not earn that maximum figure. If he's active 10 games (and suspended six), Hunt would earn $629,411; if he's available for offseason workouts it would go up to $684,411. The total would go up or down depending on the length of Hunt's suspension, and when it is announced. Hunt was due to earn $678,750 in Kansas City.

John Dorsey was asked if the signing of Kareem Hunt makes Duke Johnson expendable. His answer: "I don't think it makes him expendable yet. What you have to do is you have to go back and research your options and see moving forward what's best for the organization."

John Dorsey said there are no guarantees with Kareem Hunt, that Hunt has to earn the trust of the team and the city of Cleveland.

John Dorsey talks about the signing of Kareem Hunt and says that Hunt understands and takes responsibility for the "egregious act" he committed and he is remorseful. Dorsey said the Browns talked to many people about Hunt, but not the female victim.

The Browns may have signed running back Kareem Hunt, but the team has no idea when it will see him in uniform. Hunt remains on the commissioner's exempt list and faces a significant suspension for shoving and kicking a young woman in Cleveland, actions that led to his release from Kansas City. A source told ESPN's Dan Graziano that the “discipline process is still ongoing and nowhere near done.”

Mayfield to use ROY loss to 'Quads' as motivation

Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield said Wednesday at the Cleveland Sports Awards that losing out on NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors to friendly rival Saquon Barkley -- or "Quads" -- will motivate him.

Baker Mayfield embraces the high expectations for the Browns in 2019, saying it should be that way: "It shouldn't be that the whole town goes crazy over one win on a Thursday."

Baker Mayfield talks about taking the championship rings from Tom Brady in the NFL 100 commercial that was such a hit during the Super Bowl. "They are heavy," Mayfield said. "They were the real rings." He spoke after winning the Professional Athlete of the Year at the Cleveland Sports Awards banquet.
