Titans sixth-round guard Corey Levin out of Chattanooga says he's a big fan of the NHL Nashville Predators. He wants to meet goalie Pekka Rinne. "I'd drive up there this week in a heartbeat if I could get a dang ticket," he said of Nashville's second-round series against the St. Louis Blues.

Titans GM Jon Robinson said the Titans didn't use the NFL's new Facetime/Skype option for unlimited conversations with prospects. Preferred boots on the ground method.

Coach Mike Mularkey: Cutting to 53 for Titans will be harder, very competitive roster. Got some rookie free agents we are signing who will also compete.

GM Jon Robinson says the Titans spent at least a half day with all their third-day picks. "We really got to know them. We're excited about the competition level they'll add to our roster."

Titans seventh-round RB Khalfani Muhammad from Cal was driving in Inglewood, Calif. but was stopped at a light when he got the call from the Titans. His little brother was in a seven-on-seven tournament and he was returning home. "I run, I catch, I'm even down there making tackles on coverage units," he said. Said he beat new teammate Adoree' Jackson in high school track teams races.

ESPN Stats and Information

Khalfani Muhammad's 4,575 career all-purpose yards for Cal rank third all-time in program history. His 4.35 40 at Cal's pro day would have been the fourth-fastest overall time at the NFL draft combine, while his 38.5 inch vertical would have been second among running backs at the combine.

Josh Carraway, Titans new OLB out of TCU: "I bring a lot of speed, versatility. I can play with my hand in the ground or standing up. You don't have to worry about me messing up or getting in trouble." Says he's ready and willing to work on special teams and win a spot via that route.

Titans add athleticism at LB in Round 7

Josh Carraway is a 3-4 outside linebacker prospect who has excellent length (34 1/2-inch arms) and quality athleticism. He needs to get stronger, particularly in his lower half, to improve his point of attack skills and add more of a power element to his game.

Paul Kuharsky ESPN Staff Writer

At No. 227 in the seventh round, the Titans grab outside linebacker Josh Carraway, a 6-foot-3, 242-pound OLB out of TCU. Rated as a great, rangy athlete who needs to get tougher and more aggressive.

Paul Kuharsky ESPN Staff Writer

New Titans G Corey Levin: "I didn't have a clue where I would go. Somewhere in the fifth to free-agent range. The sixth, in the middle of that, is awesome." His finance's family is from Nashville and he's become familiar with the team from that. He rattled off several names. "Great culture there, excited to be a part of it. ...I'm probably more of a guard in the NFL, just because I don't have any length." Titans worked him out at center too, which he's been working on.
