A second thumping win for the defending champions, who put Zimbabwe in their place in the opening match, and are now through to the first round proper next week. Bangladesh, meanwhile, are out, another disappointing performance. They now face Zimbabwe on this same ground in two days' time to determine the wooden spoon.

That's it from us. This is Andrew Miller signing off, on behalf of Martin Williamson as well. Thanks for being with us, and join us again on Friday for the next match of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Abdur Razzak to Gayle, 1 run, and there it is at last! Gayle's 13th one-day hundred is completed with a drive down to long-on. Well played that man. It wasn't easy at the start, but it's been effortless towards the end
