1.28am And that is all we have from this game - thanks for sticking around and hope you had fun. It's goodbye from Raghav, Binoy, Danyal and myself.

Wahab: The way he batted, he took the pressure away. The way he plays, he left no clues to the bowling team. We have just given the license to express themselves, it's good to give the guys that confidence because you know what they're capable of. [Things to improve] In the last three games we've been giving away wickets in quick succession. This is where we really have to work hard. The batter who is in really needs to [take responsibility].

Zazai: When I got selected in the PSL I was excited to play for Zalmi. My form was good in the nets and the coaches and players encouraged me and that's why I went out there with confidence. I prefer playing against the fast bowlers, but I've improved against spin recently and it was a 50-50 split tonight.

Hazratullah Zazai is the Player of the Match.

Imad: It's a mixture of good bowling and poor batting - they bowled really well. The thing is, they outclassed us in batting and bowling. They utilised the powerplay, we lost 3-4 wickets. If we'd got Zazai early we could have [done better]. We're still well placed and there are positives for us. Nothing to lose now - we have to win both games to stay in the tournament. We have to give ourselves a chance in both batting and bowling. We'll sit together tomorrow and come back hard - if we think we can't do it, then there's no point.

1.14am They needed this win so bad, and they've absolutely romped to it tonight. Barring that little blip in the last few overs of course. But that didn't matter one bit - this match was wrapped up much, much earlier. Superb bowling effort to reduce Karachi Kings to 108 - their lowest score - before Zazai came and finished the chase before Karachi could even think of a plan. What a totally stunning debut. Joint-fastest PSL fifty, off 17 balls, and 63 off 26 in all. It's a win that does wonders for their net run-rate, on top of the fact that they've now jumped to second place with 10 points. One more game to go and you'd think one more win will seal qualification. Karachi were tied on six points with Multan Sultans and were fourth place - they now go down to fifth because their NRR has been battered.

Noor Ahmad to Rutherford, 5 wides, past keeper and leg slip and that is the win. Googly pitching leg stump, spinning down, and no one can stop that

Faheem: "Having seen enough cricket I know it won't happen but would be super funny if Zalmi lost it from here"

Noor Ahmad to Rutherford, no run, past the outside edge again.Hesitant on the forward defence as he expects the googly while this skids on
Noor Ahmad to Rutherford, no run, past the outside edge. Length outside off, grip and turn away as he looks to defend
Noor Ahmad to Powell, 1 run, full outside off, gets low and laps that in the direction of fine leg
Noor Ahmad to Powell, no run, beaten as this googly jumps across him. Short of a length and he swished away from the body
Noor Ahmad to Powell, no run, short of a length just outside off, cut firmly to backward point

Slip and gully for Powell

Noor Ahmad to Rutherford, 1 run, good length outside off, gets forward and defends solidly to point's left

Here's Rutherford now. Slip and leg slip in place.

Noor Ahmad to Haider Ali, 1 wide, OUT, and they have another! Three wickets with no addition. Unless that's called a wide. Googly, short of a length and wide outside off. Haider steps out and into the leg side and has a long way to reach out to that as it skids away from him. Doesn't reach, nearly falls over, and is out by a long way. Doesn't even wait for the replay, goes to the dugout and has his head in his hands

Awais: "Is this Malik third duck in a row?" --- Second. 2, 0, 0. Here's Noor again

Imad Wasim to Powell, no run, a double-wicket maiden! Incredible. Tight lines from Imad though. Length and in at off stump this time, watchfully defended on the back foot
Imad Wasim to Powell, no run, good length, dipping and turning from middle stump. Defended into the off side

Look at that now, a slip comes in

Imad Wasim to Shoaib Malik, OUT, taken at long-off! Malik looking to finish things off, gets a decent amount of bat on that. But it was a quick whippy shot because of Imad's pace. Stepped out, got to the pitch, couldn't get the elevation to clear Guptill

Shoaib Malik c Guptill b Imad Wasim 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Imad Wasim to Shoaib Malik, no run, full at off stump, pushed into the covers
Imad Wasim to Hazratullah Zazai, OUT, hits off stump. Length, skidding on quickly. Very typically Imad. Finds a way through Zazai, who swings across the line and misses. What an absolute pleasure this innings has been. Really rubbed it in for Karachi on a miserable evening for them. The man with the joint-fastest fifty in ALL T20s, gets the joint-fastest PSL fifty on debut

Hazratullah Zazai b Imad Wasim 63 (26b 8x4 4x6) SR: 242.30

Imad Wasim to Hazratullah Zazai, no run, full and tight at the stumps, watchfully pushed back to the bowler

Right, how many of you counting on the game ending this over? Imad Wasim coming on, around the wicket

Abbas Afridi to Hazratullah Zazai, 1 run, slower ball at a length outside off, gets behind the line and clips to deep square's left
Abbas Afridi to Haider Ali, 1 run, length and in at middle stump. Odd shot, that, looks like he was ready for a short ball and was shaping to pull. had to check himself and was completely out of position as he patted this to long-on
Abbas Afridi to Hazratullah Zazai, 1 run, length ball at middle stump, slugged along the turf to deep midwicket

Sunny: "Please change the score card of 2nd innings as Hazratulah Zazai took the strike on very 1st ball but you are showing Kamran Akmal 1st in scorecard" --- Thanks Sunny, we'll sort that out

Abbas Afridi to Hazratullah Zazai, no run, short of a length slower ball just outside off, beaten on the cut
Abbas Afridi to Hazratullah Zazai, SIX, pumped over long-on! Oh goodness, this is relentless. In the slot, overpitched at a middle stump line, and he gets the front leg out of the way and slogs sweetly through the line
