Paris Saint-Germain have announced a new sponsorship deal with AccorHotels, which will become of one of European football's four most lucrative, sources have told ESPN FC.
The agreement will be almost double their previous deal and see them earn more than Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Tottenham.
Starting in the 2019-20 campaign, PSG will have AccorHotels' Accor Live Limitless (ALL) lifestyle loyalty platform on the front of their shirts as part of a "multi-year" agreement.
This deal sees PSG overtake Manchester City's €52 million agreement with Etihad. Though the Ligue 1 leaders are still behind Real Madrid, who have a €76m sponsorship deal with Emirates, Manchester United, who make €65m from Chevrolet, and Barcelona, who earn €59m from Rakuten, according to Brand Finance.
PSG and ALL's agreement is almost double the figure that Emirates, their main sponsor since 2006, have been paying since their last renewal -- approximately €27m per year.
The news is a big boost to PSG's long-standing battle with UEFA over financial fair play (FFP) and sources have indicated that further positive news is expected later this week from the Court of Arbitration for Sport regarding their appeal against European football's governing body.
PSG chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi will be joined by AccorHotels supremo Sebastien Bazin, a former president of the Ligue 1 outfit, in a news conference at Parc des Princes on Friday, while former French president and PSG fan Nicolas Sarkozy is an AccorHotels administrator.
On top of the ALL agreement, PSG confirmed on Wednesday the arrival of another new partner in MSC Cruises until at least 2021.
