Cannonier (13-5) will look to rebound from his first loss as a UFC middleweight -- a five-round decision to Robert Whittaker in October. The 37-year-old, who is ranked No. 3 by the UFC, could conceivably punch his ticket to a title shot with a victory, as he is 3-1 in the division and already highly ranked. He is the favorite at -155, according to Caesars Sportsbook.
Gastelum (17-7) likely has a little more work ahead if he is to reach his second UFC title shot. He came up short in an interim title fight against Israel Adesanya in 2019, and has limped to a 1-4 record in his past five. He has faced some of the division's top talent during that stretch, however, and remains very relevant as the No. 9-ranked middleweight.
