Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez meet for the second time in less than five months on Saturday with the vacant men's flyweight championship once again on the line, headlining UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The UFC has dubbed its temporary home as "Fight Island."
Back in February, Figueiredo scored a second-round TKO of Benavidez but was not awarded the championship because he had missed weight. Another factor in the UFC's decision to run this one back: The knockout came moments after a clash of heads wobbled Benavidez.
The main card will be on ESPN+, starting at 8 p.m. ET. The prelims will be on both ESPN and ESPN+, starting at 5 p.m.
Figueiredo (18-1) has won three fights in a row. His only career loss came against fellow contender Jussier Formiga in March 2019.
Benavidez (28-6) was on a three-fight winning streak before the February defeat. This will be the fourth time he's trying for the UFC flyweight title.
There's also another pivotal 125-pound fight on the card. Alexandre Pantoja, No. 6 in the ESPN divisional rankings, takes on seventh-ranked Askar Askarov.
