Leon Edwards faces Belal Muhammad in a meeting of welterweights looking to make a big splash in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas. The fights, which take place at the UFC's Apex facility, will be broadcast on ESPN+, with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET and the prelims at 5 p.m.

Edwards (18-3), who is No. 4 in the ESPN welterweight rankings, has won eight fights in a row but has not fought since July 20, 2019, despite being healthy for much of that time. He did pull out of one booking after testing positive for COVID-19, but several others fell through as well.

Muhammad (also 18-3) has won four fights in a row, most recently a decision win over Dhiego Lima on Feb. 13. This weekend's booking makes Muhammad just the eighth fighter in the UFC's modern era to compete in a main event off a turnaround of 28 days or less.

The co-main event is a light heavyweight bout between Misha Cirkunov and Ryan Spann. Since Cirkunov entered the UFC in 2015, every one of his nine fights has ended in a stoppage, with the Latvian-born Canadian light heavyweight going 6-3. Only five modern-era fighters have started their UFC careers with 10 straight fights ending in stoppage.

In the feature prelim, Angela Hill competes in her 17th UFC fight when she faces strawweight Ashley Yoder. The only woman fighter with more appearances than Hill is Jessica Andrade (18).
