Leicester Tigers stalwart Martin Corry has hinted that he may not hang his boots up at the end of the season as was widely expected.
The 35-year-old lock, who retired from international rugby after the 2007 Rugby World Cup, signed a 12-month contract extension with the Tigers last year which expires at the end of the season.
But as he prepares to lead the Tigers against Premiership pacesetters Bath at Welford Road tomorrow afternoon he has admitted he does not feel ready to call it a day.
"There's got to come a time sooner or later when I go and get a real job," Corry told The Mirror. "I do need to start thinking about other things to make sure life after rugby is in place. But rugby has been such a big part of my life - in fact for many years it's been my life - that walking away from it is going to be incredibly hard to do.
"I've had a clock ticking in my head for probably the last five years but I love what I do," he said. "That's why I've never actually stated when I'll finish. I'm not ready to say that. I'd like to think there's a lot of life left in me yet."
A former England captain, Corry won 64 caps during his international career and also earnt one cap on the British & Irish Lions' tour to New Zealand in 2005.
