How wide open is the NBA rookie of the year race this season?
A week ago, Miami center Kel’el Ware wasn’t included in some sportsbooks’ odds to win the award. Now, after consecutive games with 20-plus points, Ware has the fourth-shortest odds to win at ESPN BET.
ESPN BET added Ware to its betting options Monday, opening him at 100-1. On Wednesday, Ware’s odds had shortened to +550, behind only Alexandre Sarr (+250), Stephon Castle (+250) and Jaylen Wells (+350).
