Hull v Ipswich

It’s all over at the MKM Stadium, as the points are shared between Hull and Ipswich after a 2-2 draw, which saw both sides take the lead. The visitors looked in control throughout the first half and took a deserved lead, as Outarra played through Florentino to beat Tzolakis at his near post. Hull would respond well after the break, finding a leveller as Iroegbunam broke free driving across the Ipswich half before slotting it past Walton. They would then turn the game around completely, with McBurnie scoring a free-kick. He stepped up from the edge of the area, drilling it down low and finding the bottom right corner, with Walton caught out. Ipswich showed no signs of backing down, getting themselves back on level terms. Enciso skipped past the Hull midfield then spectacularly guided the ball into the top corner from range. The Tigers would manage 0.68 xG, slightly lower than Ipswich’s 1.02. Both sides remain level on 11 points, with Hull in 8th and Ipswich in 12th. Up next for today’s hosts is a trip to London, where they face reigning champions Arsenal. As for Ipswich, they host an in-form Bournemouth side next time. Thank you for joining us. Goodbye!
