Commentary
Crystal Palace run out 3-1 winners to claim their first home victory of the season against a wasteful Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park. It was a remarkable match in the capital, with the visitors squandering a wealth of chances before suffering their third defeat in six matches under new boss Oliver Glasner. Ndoye got Forest started with a cool finish in the third minute, and the away side initially looked set to run away with the game in the first half. Gibbs-White struck the crossbar on 35 minutes before Delap somehow failed to convert from a few yards out, while Munoz also failed to finish with his right earlier on. Palace hung in there, though, and eventually found an equaliser when Kamada netted his first Premier League goal in the 41st minute. The drama wasn't over there, either, as Lerma rose to nod the ball in from Wharton's corner in the fourth minute of added time to round off a dramatic first half of football. Forest flew out the gates once again after the break, but still failed to take their chances, before Palace landed a fatal blow through Pino in the 59th minute. Palace recorded 2.38 xG in total compared to the visitors' 2.97, and the home side now looks to a trip to Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forest now switch focus to a visit from reigning champions Arsenal in seven days' time. That's all for this one, thanks for joining us!
FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 3-1 NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Forest defender Murillo is shown a late yellow card for a reckless challenge on Sarr.
Forest have had 56.7% of possession and recorded 2.94 xG...and yet they're staring down the barrel of a third Premier League defeat in six matches. Go figure.
Palace continue to threaten from corners as Wharton picks out Richards at the back post. The latter can't quite direct his header into the far corner, though, and the ball flies wide.
"Glasner, what's the score?" sing the Palace fans, while their former manager has also heard chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning". The home crowd have enjoyed this one.
