Curtis Mead exits Red Sox debut with left wrist contusion
Veteran infielder Curtis Mead, 25, acquired from the Washington Nationals last week, left his first game with the Boston Red Sox Monday night after being hit on the left wrist by a pitch in the fourth inning against the Athletics at Sutter Health Park.
