Forest have won each of their last six home league games against Coventry, with their last victory coming in the Championship back in April 2022. They will have to improve in the attacking third if they are to press home this bout of possession.

McAtee accepts the ball from the right side of the pitch, looks up and, after a couple of strides, unleashes another stinging shot that travels with purpose towards goal, but Thomas bravely sticks his head in its flight path and diverts the effort away from goal.

NDOYE AND DELAP ARE BOTH THWARTED!! A cross from Williams down the left is snatched at by Ndoye at close range first and then as the rebound comes to Delap he also finds a blue and white striped shirt in his path. Another chance comes to Delap moemtns later and the strapping centre-forward hits a right-footed shot that grazes the turf but is off target, just missing the near post.

The hosts will be disappointed not to have worked the opposition keeper enough yet. Forest are yet to score at home this season and should they blank again against Coventry, it would be their first time ever not scoring in their first three home games in the league.
