Fulham v C Palace

Fulham recorded 1.7 xG in the first half compared to the measly 0.27 put up by Palace. And although the visitors are unbeaten in their last seven visits to Craven Cottage, the Opta supercomputer is giving Fulham a strong 68.7% chance of victory at the break. The Palace win comes in at just 10%, while the draw currently sits at 21.3%.

The half-time whistle goes as Fulham take a 2-1 lead into the break. It's been an exciting first half, with both sides looking capable in the final third while also looking incredibly vulnerable at the back. It was Fulham who struck first on 11 minutes, when Bobb cut the ball back to King in the Palace box, allowing the latter to find an angle and fire a deflected shot beyond Henderson. Palace thought they'd equalised three minutes later through Kamada, only for VAR to quickly rule the goal out for offside. Still, the Eagles persisted and soon drew level when Mitchell beat Leno at his near post with a crisp left-footed effort on the 35-minute mark. Fulham refused to lie down, though, and were back in front seven minutes later when Palacios tapped home from close range to score his first goal for the club.

Fulham get forward again as they look to bag a third, but Robinson overhits his cross from the left, and the ball flies out for a Palace throw-in on the opposite side.

Neither of these sides have been particularly convincing at the back. There are definitely more goals in this game.
