Millen knocks out holders
Ross Millen struck a late winner as Dunfermline knocked holders Raith out of the Scottish Challenge Cup following a 1-0 first-round victory at East End Park.Millen fired a shot into the top corner with eight minutes remaining after Joshua Falkingham's rebound effort, after his initial shot was saved by Rovers goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert, found its way to the defender.Pars goalkeeper Ryan Scully had prevented Christian Nade from putting Raith ahead within a minute of the second half.Cuthbert, who foiled Michael Moffat in the first half, produced another fine stop to deny Faissal El Bakhtaoui a second as Rovers' hold of the trophy came to an end.Dunfermline will now meet Falkirk at home in the second round.
