Luxembourg registered their first win since 2013 -- a run of 14 games -- as they sunk Macedonia 1-0 in Euro 2016 qualifying group C.
The minnows, with a population of a little more than 500,000, climb above their opponents in the standings as a result of Sebastien Thill's injury-time strike.
It looked as if it would be Macedonia claiming the three points when Ben Payal fouled Besart Abdurahimi in the area with just six minutes left, but home goalkeeper Jonathan Joubert produced a fine stop from the resulting penalty.
And Thill took advantage in the second minute of time added on as he superbly controlled on his chest before looping a volley into the top corner.
