Caen secured seventh place in Ligue 1 as they overcame Bordeaux with a 1-0 home victory at Stade Michel d'Ornano.The home side finished two spots off their best-ever finish of fifth place in French top-flight football that they achieved in 1992, thanks to an early Andy Delort goal.The 24-year-old striker scored the only goal of the game after drawing a foul from defender Pablo for a penalty, which he stepped up to guide into the top-left corner.That was Delort's 12th goal of the season leaving the visitors in 11th position.
