Bordeaux claimed their first three points of the season away from the Chaban Delmas with a slender 1-0 win at Montpellier.Cheick Diabate scored the game's only goal to move Les Girondins into the top half of the Ligue 1 table. La Paillade almost scored early on but Mustapha Yatabare's effort hit a post before the visitors took the lead in the 16th minute.Montpellier failed to clear their lines from a corner and, after Diego Rolan's effort was blocked, Diabate was on hand to bundle the ball over the line.Victory for Bordeaux stretched their current unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games, while Montpellier are left just two points above the relegation zone.
