Marseille grabbed their first points, and goals, of the new Ligue 1 season in emphatic style with a convincing 6-0 win over Troyes.

Following a period of early domination, l'OM, who appointed former Olympiacos boss Michel in midweek, broke the deadlock when Abdelaziz Barrada netted after Michy Batshuayi's header came back off the bar.

And, the hosts as good as wrapped up the points just after the interval when Lassana Diarra and Batshuayi both scored clinical efforts in the space of nine minutes.

Lucas Ocampos added a fourth in style, acrobatically steering the ball beyond Petric, before Romain Alesdandrini and Batshuayi netted late on to complete the rout.
