NorthEast v Kerala
Chris Dagnall nets brace as Kerala Blasters hammer NorthEast United
Kerala Blasters hammered NorthEast United 4-1 to boost their flagging Indian Super League campaign.
Having won only two out of their last 10 away matches, Kerala made a great start when Chris Dagnall struck after only 29 seconds after Antonio German had created the chance.
Last year's finalists doubled their lead in the 21st minute, with Cavin Lobo racing clear to slot past the goalkeeper.
Kerala scored two more goals in two second-half minutes. German curled a fine effort home, before Dagnall got his second of the game after a nice exchange of passes with Lobo.
Nicolas Velez somehow squeezed the ball past Stephen Bywater in injury time for a NorthEast consolation.
But they ended the game well beaten and seventh-placed Kerala closed the gap on the fifth-placed side to two points.
