Hoffenheim extended their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga this season with a goalless draw in a fiery encounter at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Referee Christian Dingert somehow managed to keep his cards in his pocket during the first half, which concluded with Hoffenheim's Benjamin Hubner having a goal ruled out for offside, but he could no longer stand by and let the many fouls go unpunished in the second half.
One of many heated exchanges inside the final 10 minutes saw Frankfurt's Timothy Chandler shown a straight red card.
A few more yellow cards later and Dingert blew the final whistle which leaves the two top-five teams locked together, now on 26 points each.
