Salt Lake v Inter Milan
Stevan Jovetic injury-time goal leads Inter Milan past Real Salt Lake
Stevan Jovetic scored a cheeky injury-time winner to lead Internazionale past Real Salt Lake in a friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium on Tuesday.
Inter, who had no wins from two tries so far in their preseason, needed to rally to beat hosts RSL.
Jordan Allen put the MLS club in front in the 18th minute and was a bright spot for RSL all night long.
Inter levelled just before the break when defender Danilo D'Ambrosio volleyed home from an excellent cross into the penalty area from Caner Erkin.
With time expiring, Jovetic settled a long pass over the RSL defence right in front of their goal and with his back to goal used a clever heel pass to beat the goalkeeper and a defender on the line for the win.
Inter will face Paris Saint-Germain in their International Champions Cup opener at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, on July 24.
