Major League Soccer: Luis Nani (19') Orlando City 2-0 FC Cincinnati (1:03)

Tesho Akindele scored the fastest goal to open a game in Orlando City SC franchise history to highlight a 3-0 victory over visiting FC Cincinnati on Saturday.

Akindele needed just 31 seconds -- and a huge defensive miscue -- to give his team a 1-0 lead it wouldn't relinquish, as Orlando City posted its first win of the season while FC Cincinnati remained winless through three games.

Shortly after kickoff, Orlando City's Mauricio Pereyra knocked the ball down the left flank, ahead of a sprinting Akindele. He was marked by defender Nick Hagglund, who got to the ball first just outside the penalty box. But with Akindele closing in, Hagglund knocked the ball toward the goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton, hoping he could clear the ball out of danger.

His pass, however, lacked angle and speed, enabling Akindele to get to it first and slide it into the lower-right corner for a 1-0 lead.

Nani doubled the lead in the 19th minute, when he collected a pass outside of the top of the penalty box and put on a show. He faked Yuya Kubo twice laterally, and after his spin to the right caused Kubo to miss on a slide tackle, used his left foot to drive the ball past a diving Tyton and into the upper-left corner of the goal.

Nani just missed extending the lead four minutes later when his header off Christopher Mueller's crossing from the right flank hit the post.

Junior Urso capped the win in the 80th minute when he scored from close range off an assist from Benji Michel, who headed Nani's pass into the goalmouth.

Orlando City outshot Cincinnati 23-7, though none of Cincinnati's shots were on target against goalkeeper Pedro Gallese compared to six shots on net by Orlando City.
