George Mason Patriots vs Fordham Rams
George Mason scrambles to take A-10 tourney win in OT
PITTSBURGH -- Marquise Moore had 25 points and a career-high 19 rebounds and George Mason came back from a seven-point deficit with 36 seconds left in regulation before taking an 82-71 overtime victory over Fordham on Thursday night in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
Moore, a 6-foot-2 guard, and Otis Livingston made 3-pointers 13 seconds apart to get George Mason (20-12) with three with 23 seconds left, and Moore added another bucket with 15 seconds left. Fordham's Chris Sengfelder made one free throw -- the Rams missed 3 of 6 in the final minute -- for a 65-63 lead before Moore went to the line.
