Colgate Raiders @ Army Black Knights
Robertson helps Colgate rally past Army 81-78
WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Jordan Robertson scored 14 points with a career-best eight rebounds and Colgate survived a last-gasp 3-point attempt as time ran out, allowing Raiders to hang onto an 81-78 come-from-behind defeat of Army Wednesday night.
The win boosts Colgate (11-9, 6-3 Patriot League) into sole possession of third place.
Army led by as many as 12 points and held the lead for more than 32 minutes, but Robertson scored the go-ahead basket in Colgate's 11-0 run that turned the game around. The Raiders went from six points down to leading 62-57 with 5:13 remaining.
Jordan Fox and Thomas Funk brought Army back to within three points twice in the last 17 seconds. Funk, at the line with three seconds to go and trailing 81-77 made the first free throw and intentionally missed the second. Fox grabbed the rebound but his 3-point attempt fell just short.
Luke Morrison led the Black Knights (12-8, 5-4) with 15 points, Matt Wilson added 13 with eight rebounds. Funk finished with 11 points and Fox scored nine.
