NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- — Jean Aranguren's 20 points helped Iona defeat Saint Francis (PA) 61-54 on Sunday night.
Aranguren shot 7 for 9 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 3 of 5 from the free throw line for the Gaels (4-6). Jeremiah Quigley scored 12 points and added seven rebounds and six assists. Terrell Williams Jr. had nine points and was 2 of 2 shooting and 5 of 8 from the free throw line.
The Red Flash (4-6) were led in scoring by Cam Gregory, who finished with 17 points, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Saint Francis (PA) also got 10 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks from Eli Wilborn. Carlos Lopez Jr. also put up seven points and five assists.
