Sources: Hawks trade up to 4, get UVa's Hunter

The Atlanta Hawks have acquired the No. 4 pick in Thursday's NBA draft from the New Orleans Pelicans for the No. 8, 17 and 35 picks, league sources told ESPN.

Guy announced last week he was declaring for the draft, but left the door open to a possible return. He is one of four Virginia players to enter their names into the NBA draft, along with Ty Jerome, De'Andre Hunter and Mamadi Diakite.

Virginia guard Kyle Guy was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player as the Cavaliers won their first national championship.

Kyle Guy announces he will declare for the NBA draft. He is not ranked in the ESPN Top 100 and left open the option to return to school. "I am diving in to this with two feet to achieve my dream but I will leave the option of coming back to school open," Guy said.

Virginia's Hunter, Jerome opting for NBA draft

Hunter is likely to be a lottery pick. The 6-foot-7 redshirt sophomore is ranked as the No. 5 overall player by ESPN and the No. 2 power forward behind only Duke's Zion Williamson. Jerome is ranked No. 29 overall and the No. 8 shooting guard.
