Goals from Marcello Trotta and Diego Falcinelli finally secured Crotone's first Serie A win of the season at the 11th attempt against free-falling Chievo on Sunday.

The bottom club seized their chance in first-half added time when Trotta converted from the penalty spot after Lucas Castro fouled Djamel Mesbah in the box.

And they made sure of their win at the end of the second period when Falcinelli fired home a left-footed shot from deep inside the box.

The result marked Chievo's fourth game without a win after a bright start to the season, with champions Juventus set to visit next Sunday.
