Raiders Covid-19 updates: DE Maxx Crosby and RB Rod Smith are on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, while LB Ukeme Eligwe, CB D.J. Killings and DE Jeremiah Valoaga are on the Reserve/Opt-Out list. "A lot of guys have opted out," said Raiders coach Jon Gruden, presumably talking about players league wide. "That's their decision and we respect it."

The Raiders waived running back Jeremy Hill on Wednesday, two days after signing him as a free agent, a day after the team activated running back Devontae Booker from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Hill took to Twitter to post, "That was fast" with an eye roll emoji. The Raiders' running back room consists of starter Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard, rookie Lynn Bowden, Jr., Rod Smith, William Stanback and Booker.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who has three young sons and whose wife is pregnant with their daughter, said he did not think about opting out this season amid the pandemic. "I have a lot to prove to myself," he said on a Zoom call Tuesday. "I have a lot to prove to my organization. I'm going to be completely honest here - I'm tired of being disrespected. So, there was no question I was going to play this year."

Raiders season ticket holders have been told via email that fans will not be allowed at home games this season. Raiders owner Mark Davis previously said he was leaning this way. The Raiders have moved to Southern Nevada to play in $1.9 billion, 65,000 - seat domed Allegiant Stadium just off the Las Vegas Strip.

The Raiders have signed all seven of their draft picks, three days before camp is scheduled to begin in Henderson, NV., the team announced Saturday - first-round WR Henry Ruggs III, first-round CB Damon Arnette, third-round RB Lynn Bowden, Jr., third-round WR Bryan Edwards, third-round LB Tanner Muse, fourth-round CB Amik Robertson and fourth-round G John Simpson.

Raiders owner leaning toward games without fans

Raiders owner Mark Davis said he's leaning toward not having any fans attend games at Las Vegas' new Allegiant Stadium this season, and he said that if that is the case, he will also stay home.
