The Rams are not recognizing Juneteenth as an official holiday; staff would not have worked Friday because of a previously scheduled day off. However, staff have been encouraged to support Black businesses in Inglewood and across L.A. The Rams have committed to reimbursing employees for money spent on food and drinks at these businesses, as well as for any books acquired by authors of color or books that further discussions on advocacy for one another, the Black community and social justice.

Sean McVay said Thursday that the Rams wrapped up their virtual offseason program early. "We had two weeks left but I feel like with the amount of good work, the attention to detail that both the coaches and then just feeling the reception from the players, their feedback, lot of good stuff that we've got accomplished," McVay said. Along with the virtual program, players have organized throwing sessions and 7-on-7 at local fields. Players are scheduled to report to training camp July 28.

Rams QB Jared Goff on social justice: "The people of color have been fighting for this for so long and wanting change and as a white person, as a white athlete – again you have an idea it's happening, but it truly doesn't hit you the way it does until something like this happens... for us to be able to speak out and make a stand, it can change things and it's important... I want to be a part of that change and a part of that action that's going to be taking place."

Former USC WR Robert Woods on Reggie Bush's reinstatement: "One of my old friends tweeted, and I felt the same way, he said, “Reggie Bush is responsible for recruiting the last 10 years of USC Trojans,” and I agreed because just growing up in L.A., watching USC and watching Reggie Bush, Fresno State, everything, getting his sleeved ripped off, growing up and idolizing him making moves, every time he make a move you're screaming out ‘Reggie Bush!'... Greatest USC football player in my opinion."

Rams WR Robert Woods on social justice: "Kaepernick brought the awareness years before this came about, so the awareness is – everyone's aware of what's going on. Now is a call for action, find ways to actually move in the community, move in our police reforms, sit down with our political leaders, different things other than – I think take a knee, lock arms right now – I think everyone's aware, now it's time to get involved, whatever skin color, job, profession... it's that time to take action."

Ramsey: Rams know where I stand on extension

Jalen Ramsey said the Rams and his agent are "on the same page" regarding an extension and he'd "for sure" be at training camp, even if a deal isn't done at that time.

Rams' Donald: 'You need fans to play a game'

The Rams' Aaron Donald says it wouldn't be fun to play an NFL game without fans in the stands. "You need fans to play a game," he said. "... That takes out the excitement and the fun out of the game."
