South Africa won't be having too many complaints after today's convincing victory. The bowlers turned in a much better performance, Parnell got five, and the spinners proved hard to get away. During the chase, Kallis and Amla chipped in with cameos, and de Villiers played a responsible hand to guide them to the finish line.

For New Zealand, there'll be plenty of questions about the team composition - the lack of a second spinner, the inclusion of Hopkins. New Zealand's batting was again not good enough, against a formidable South African batting unit 214 was too little.

Terry from Uganda: "Amazing that James Franklin too 5-30 yesterday and is 51* today for Gloucs, which includes 6x4 and 2x6 can't even get into this mediocre Kiwi team."

Post-match presentation:
Daniel Vettori: "South Africa bowled really well, we got bogged down. If we had got something around 260, it would have been competitive."

"We would have played a second spinner if Oram wasn't injured, but went with this unit for the sake of balance."

Graeme Smith: "We have improved a hell of a lot from the first game. Dale and Parnell bowled with good intensity at the start, and everyone else just followed up. It was a far better day all round."

Wayne Parnell is the Man of the Match.
