10.14 pm local time: Kolkata have been steam-rolled today. It's the most emphatic victory of the tournament so far. The whole match lasted 20.5 overs. Kolkata were routed for 67 in 15.2 overs and Mumbai gunned down the target off only 5.3 overs thanks to a blitz from Jayasuriya.

Pollock starred with the ball, taking 3 for 11, and Jayasuriya creamed 48 off 17 balls to finish the game. Kolkata were simply annihilated. Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata are now level on ten points in the league table. What's more, Mumbai now have the best net run rate of the tournament.

Ganguly gets booed as he comes up for the presentation ceremony. They bowed well, he says, but adds that Kolkata should have batted better. He says they've got three home games to go and is looking forward to playing at Eden Gardens again.

Massive cheers for Tendulkar, whose duck today would have quickly been forgotten. He took four catches in the field though. Ian Bishop is towering over Tendulkar as he asks him questions. "Instead of edging them, I need to middle them," says Tendulkar when asked about his form.

"It's not the age but the talent," he says. "People always say Twenty20 is a young man's game but I don't agree and this tournament is proving that." Well the performances of Pollock and Jayasuriya, who goes up to collect the award for most sixes, certainly underscore that sentiment.

Pollock is the Man of the Match for his outstanding spell of 3 for 11 off four overs. Thank you for all your emails, Mumbai has ensured that my commentary stint has been brief. I'll be back tomorrow but it's goodbye for now.

Sharma to Jayasuriya, 4 leg byes, short of a length ball down leg side, Jayasuriya swivels and pulls the ball towards the fine leg boundary, what a stunning batsman, he's scored 52 out of 68 runs, whoops sorry the umpire has signaled leg byes, so Jayasuriya won't have his fifty, he remains not out on 48
